Decluttering Challenge

30 day decluttering challenge

For the last few days I have been madly filming clips for the soon to begin Decluttering Challenge in The Clutter Free Life Private Facebook Group. In this challenge I not only tell readers what to declutter but I also tackle the reasons behind our clutter issues.

What is included in the decluttering challenge?

I discuss the myths behind why we often fail to start our decluttering even though we know we really need to do it. I help members to find the time to get the tasks done. I also help them to tackle the problem of procrastination.

You know how it is, you’ve made the realisation that something needs to be done and then do absolutely anything you can in order to avoid having to do it. When we stop and think about it, we realise how silly it is, but this is rarely something we have conscious control over. Our subconscious doesn’t want to do it and then we create all sorts of excuses for why we can’t get it done just now. To tackle this we need to employ a few tricks of our own. I teach you these in the upcoming challenge.

Often when it comes to decluttering, we find ourselves standing in the corner of the room, overwhelmed by the task ahead of us and have absolutely no idea where to start. My best advice in this situation is to tackle something small.

When you have experienced success with this small task, a few things happen.

1) You realise how easy that small task actually was.
2) You feel a sense of accomplishment at having got it done.
3) You find the motivation to tackle the next small task.

What we often don’t realise it that: Everything is an accumulation of small tasks.

This is what I help you to do in this upcoming challenge. Each day I share with you a video with tips and tricks to assist you in your decluttering process. Then I set a specific challenge task for you to complete before the next challenge is posted. Each task can be completed in only 15 minutes a day. You will be surprised how much can be accomplished in that small amount of time if you tackle it correctly.

This is what you will learn when the challenge begins. But, you don’t have to wait. You can jump over to the Facebook Group right now and check out the resources already available there. Come and join a community of likeminded people and kickstart your Decluttering journey today.
